These clips are one of several used to hold the various sizes and styles of side moulding bumpstrips to the vehicles. These styling strips are mounting about half up the side of the vehicle and run the length of the car. Different model variants have different strips and use different fasteners to attach them. These clips are only used on 3-series E36 models fitted with the M-Tech body styling strips.
