Locking nuts are used to join parts using the locking nut and a screw. The locking nut will sit in a hole within the bodywork such as a corner of the wing. The bumper could then be attached to the locking nut by screw through the bumper and into the plastic locking nut. It is important to check the dimensions of the hole that the locking nut fits into to ensure it can expand and hold securely in the gap when the screw is inserted.
