These clips are very widely used on Fiat and Alfa Romeo cars and commercial vehicles. The clip is a simple grommet but is oblong which allows for some choice of locating position when fitting. The fastener fits into a hole measuring 14mm x 8mm. These are typically used in the bodywork to mount sill covers, pillar covers, tailgate trims and boot linings.
