These flexible plastic blanking plugs are used to seal holes in bodywork or trim panels. Most vehicles have a number of access holes in the bodywork which are used for assembly of components or are just redundant from an option not fitted to the car. They are very common on the bulkhead that separates the engine bay from the passenger area and on doors and tailgates.
