Red trim clips used to attach the decorative trims that run on the doors and across the dashboard on some BMW models. The clips have a metal insert set into the plastic. Each decorative trim comes with a metal stud and when pushed through the centre of this clip, the insert clamps onto the stud and holds the trim in place. The trims can vary from wood to aluminium effect depending on the model. To fit these clips, they are pushed into the holes and then rotated a quarter turn to lock in place.
