These plastic clips have a coarsely threaded plastic screw on one side which cuts directly into the interior carpet of the vehicle. The other side of the clip has a hook and loop or Velcro-style material which helps secure the mats. These clips only include one half of the hook and loop system. The other is integral to the genuine Mini floor mats which already have the opposing side sewn into the underside of the mat. Each mat requires two fasteners.
